Marshall-Olkin exponential distribution has been studied by Salah, et al. [11,12]. In this paper, we consider the analysis of the hybrid censored data when the life time distribution of the individuals item is a two-parameter Marshall-Olkin exponential distribution. We study the estimations of the shape (a) and scale (l ) parameters of Marshall-Olkin exponential distribution based on Type-II hybrid censoring scheme. Using the EM algorithm to compute the maximum likelihood estimators as it observed that these estimators can not be found explicitly. Finally, we obtain the observed Fisher information matrix that can be used for constructing the asymptomatic confidence intervals. Numerical simulation is performed.
