Another Generalized Transmuted Power Function Distribution for Modelling Lifetime Data
Abstract
A more flexible four-parameter distribution (i.e.) another generalized transmuted power function distribution is introduced. The sub-models and some mathematical properties such as moment, order statistics, quantile function, entropy, etc. of the distribution are considered. The maximum likelihood estimation method is used to estimate the parameters of the distribution. The potential of the distribution is demonstrated through the application of real data set.
