In this paper, we study an extended (1+3)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili-like equation. Lie symmetry reductions of the equation were performed and direct integration technique was adopted. Kudryashov’s approach was utilized to generate a closed- form solution of the equation. Besides, we employ power series approach to secure a solution of the underlying equation. Solutions found for the underlying equation include hyperbolic function as well as series solutions of the equation. In conclusion, we construct conserved quantities of the aforementioned equation by invoking Ibragimov’s theorem.
