In the last decade the applications of quantum calculus in the field of approximation theory is an active area of research. The (p,q)-calculus is further extension of q-calculus, which provides a new direction for researchers. In the present article, we propose the (p,q)-variant of the Baskakov-Kantorovich operators, using (p,q)-integrals. We estimate moments and establish direct results, using linear approximating methods viz. Steklov mean and K-functionals in terms of modulus of continuity. Also, in a weighted space, we obtain a direct estimate.
